Accessibility at Vita Bella Health
Vita Bella is committed to providing a website that is usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies. Our goal is to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort: we combine automated checks, code review, and periodic manual testing rather than claiming blanket compliance without verification.
What we build toward
- Meaningful text alternatives for images and clear labels for controls
- Keyboard access for navigation, menus, forms, and dialogs (including skip links and visible focus)
- Semantic structure (landmarks, headings, fieldsets) and ARIA where it helps assistive technologies
- Form labels tied to inputs and errors announced to screen readers
- Decorative or silent background video marked so it does not clutter screen readers; videos with speech should offer captions or transcripts when available
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences where feasible
- Responsive layouts that reflow on zoom and smaller screens
Testing and limitations
We run automated accessibility checks in development (for example, axe on key components) and fix issues as we find them. Third-party embeds (analytics, chat, payment providers) may not fully meet the same standards; if you hit a barrier, tell us and we will help or provide an alternative. Conformance is assessed per page and over time—we welcome your feedback as part of that process.
