Membership Questions

What is included in my monthly membership?

As of today, our services and treatment plans are only available to Vita Bella members, and enable us to offer lower prices on the medications available. We’re hard at work adding new treatment plans and services for our members that will be added to our membership plans as they become available. What’s included in all monthly memberships: Priority shipping on all orders filled through our partner pharmacies, on-going medical support from our provider team, and on-going follow-up consultations with your provider (scheduled every 3 months). Note: Medication is charged separately based on your provider’s recommendation.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Your initial membership package requires a 6-month minimum commitment. Following your initial package, your membership will renew on a month-to-month basis until you terminate in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined on our site.

Is the cost of labs included in my membership?

No. The cost of lab work is not currently covered in the membership or initial consultation fee. However, we have negotiated reduced pricing with the top lab providers – Labquest and Quest, to help minimize the cost. You may also submit your lab work costs directly to your insurance provider.

Do you take insurance?

We do not accept insurance. You can submit your invoice and “super bills” to your insurance company. While many plans do not cover this, money spent in non covered healthcare should go towards your deductible.

Provider Questions

Does Vita Bella require an in-person consultation with a physician?

No. Vita Bella is a tele-health clinic you can access from the comfort of your home. Through our telemedicine platform, you will be able to connect with and have a face-to-face appointment with your provider.

Do you offer in person visits?

Vita Bella is a telehealth only clinic, we do not offer in person visits at this time.

Do I talk to a licensed provider or do I just send you my prescriptions?

We do not accept prescriptions written by other medical providers. Once you have signed up, completed your lab panel, and we have received your results, we’ll send you a link to schedule a consultation with a licensed provider at a time that works best for you. During your initial consultation, your provider will talk to you about any existing prescriptions you may have as well as what Vita Bella plan will work for you.

Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

Once you have signed up and completed your initial lab panel, a provider will review your information. You do not need a prescription or referral from your primary care physician prior to joining Vita Bella.

Are Vita Bella providers licensed?

Yes, all Vita Bella providers are licensed in the home state of each patient they serve. Each provider undergoes an extensive background check, license verification, and training.

Labs

Why do I need to get lab work done?

All Vita Bella members begin their journey with a comprehensive lab panel to better inform our providers on the treatment plans that are right for you. For questions about your lab panels, please feel free to reach out to us at support@vitabella.com.

Where do I get my labs done?

We partner with LabCorp and Quest for all required lab work, specific details regarding the required labs will be provided upon sign up.

Medications

Are the treatments safe?

Our providers recommend medications that are safe to use and are made by top compounding pharmacies that meet the industry’s highest standards. Our providers create your personalized treatment plan based on your lab results. They will clearly explain the benefits and possible side-effects of any medications you might be prescribed. We will also check in along the way to make sure everything is going according to plan and if you have any questions, you can reach your provider through our secure portal at any time.

Where does Vita Bella source their medications?

We have partnered with the top 3 FDA inspected compounding pharmacies to fulfill orders for all medication subscriptions. For more questions about our pharmacy partners and products, please feel free to contact us at support@vitabella.com.

Can I purchase medication without a prescription or a membership?

No. Before purchasing medications, you must sign up for a Vita Bella membership, complete a lab panel and see one of our licensed providers. Once you have had your initial consultation, depending on the treatment plan recommended for you, you will be able to purchase medications that have been prescribed to you.

Is it legal to purchase medication online?

Yes – Vita Bella providers are licensed to practice medicine and prescribe medication remotely. Each provider is licensed to prescribe medicine, treat patients in your state, and comply with all medical laws in the United States.

When will I receive my medication order?

Please give your medication order 2 to 3 days to process with the pharmacy. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email link to track your shipment. All orders are sent via priority shipping and arrive within 4-5 days. Orders are only able to be shipped on weekdays.

Do I need to be home to sign for my medication order?

Most of our shipments do not require a signature upon delivery. However, if your treatment plan includes a federally controlled substance, you should expect your order to require a signature. We’ll send you an automated email with shipping and tracking information as soon as your order leaves the pharmacy so that you can plan accordingly.

Can I return my medication order?

Because the shipment contains medication, we are not able to accept returns on items that have been shipped.
