CJC - 1295 / Ipamorelin

The combination of CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin physiologically works to enhance the body's natural pulsatile release of growth hormone (GH) through distinct yet complementary mechanisms. CJC-1295 is a long-acting analog of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). PubMed studies, such as one by Teichman et al. (2006), demonstrate that CJC-1295 binds to endogenous serum albumin after injection, significantly extending its half-life to several days and providing sustained stimulation of the pituitary gland to produce and release GH. Concurrently, Ipamorelin, a selective growth hormone secretagogue (GHS), acts on the ghrelin/GHS receptor (GHSR-1a) to specifically stimulate GH release from the pituitary without significantly impacting other pituitary hormones like ACTH or cortisol, a key advantage over some older GHS analogs (Raun et al., 1998). By mimicking ghrelin's action at the GHSR-1a receptor, Ipamorelin promotes a robust and selective surge of GH. When used together, CJC-1295 provides a consistent, background stimulation of the GH axis, while Ipamorelin amplifies the natural, pulsatile release of GH, leading to an overall increase in systemic GH levels and, consequently, elevated insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), which mediates many of GH's anabolic effects. This synergistic approach aims to optimize the body's own GH production, offering a more physiological method compared to exogenous GH administration.
