NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is essential for cellular energy metabolism and participates in pathways studied in aging biology. Levels can decline with age and metabolic stress. That biology is why clinics discuss NAD+ support—not because infusions or precursors have been proven to reverse human aging.

Some people report improved energy or recovery with clinician-directed NAD+ protocols; evidence quality varies by delivery method and outcome measured. NAD+ therapy should be framed as an adjunct under medical supervision, not a substitute for sleep, strength training, cardiometabolic risk control, or indicated hormone or metabolic care.

What is NAD+?
